Community Outreach & Charity Initiatives

At Europtical, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. The staff also plays an important role in community outreach. Our office participates in:

Lasa Sanctuary lasa

Lasa Sanctuary provides life-long sanctuary to abused, neglected, displaced, and special needs animals so that they may live in safety and loving comfort as ambassadors for their species and embodiments of enduring hope and healing.

At Lasa every life is respected and cherished. We believe in the power of unity and the strength of love to heal the hearts and minds of people and animals in need. Lasa sits on 10.6 acres in Northeast Ohio and is currently home to over 110 animals of 16 different species including dogs, cats, cattle, deer, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and several special needs individuals.

We envision that, by God’s grace, IOCC will respond, without discrimination, to those who are suffering and in need, to enable them to continue to improve their own lives and communities and to have means to live with dignity, respect and hope.

Commitment & Context

IOCC, an agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, represents Orthodox Christians in North America and understands its work to include developing in Orthodox Christians a commitment to philanthropy and global cooperative involvement in the work of the Orthodox Church.
